Our SAT training courses are the ideal choice to get a head start on your exam preparation for the SAT. Developed and refined for over a decade and designed specifically for beginners, our interactive courses provide comprehensive instruction, strategic guidance, thorough revision, and tailored testing.

Each 5-day course, led by our team of expert instructors, acts as a condensed intensive program, offering individual coaching and consistent feedback throughout the week.

Our courses also specialise in teaching specific techniques for the new digital SAT, equipping students with the skills they need to excel in the adaptive format.

With the flexibility of online and in-person SAT test prep options available in central London, students from all over the world can easily participate in A-List's courses.

What does our SAT Preparation Course include?

Exclusive SAT textbook

We've written our own comprehensive SAT textbook called The Book of Knowledge that each student will receive upon registration to the course. The book comes with 1000+ practice questions, including a full Reading & Writing practice module, and contains our A-List-only Math and Reading techniques.

Format

Over the 5-day course, we provide:

  • An in-depth cover of all key SAT content, utilising our exclusive Book of Knowledge textbook and A-List's Math and Reading strategies
  • Support for students to gain excellent grounding in all required grammar rules, grow enhanced critical reading skills, and learn key SAT math techniques

  • Small group sessions, allowing tutors to give each student optimum personalised attention

  • Real past paper test materials to help students apply learned techniques to real questions, improving test approach and time management

  • Two full-length practice tests, and personalised, detailed feedback with tailored guidance and resources for improvement and next steps

In-person and online prep

Our SAT courses typically run from 9am to 3.30pm UK time.

In-person:

  • In-person course takes place at our teaching space in Central London

  • We provide drinks and light refreshments throughout the 5-day course, along with lunch on the first day

Online:

  • Online course utilises interactive learning software for progress tracking, resource access, session recordings, and material sharing

  • Tutors use breakout rooms and other digital features to ensure a constantly engaged environment

After the course

Each student receives:

  • A personalised report with an assessment of performance through the course, including test analysis, study planning, and our recommendations for the next steps
  • Post-course practice test

  • A 30-minute online or phone consultation with our Academic Team to outline a future study plan following the course

TOEFL

Our TOEFL tutoring programme prepares students for the TOEFL iBT® test, which assesses English language proficiency for studying in English-speaking countries and tests listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.

IELTS

Our IELTS tutoring programme prepares students for the IELTS standardised test, another English language proficiency exam for studying, migrating, or working in an English-speaking country. There are two kinds of IELTS exams.

IELTS Academic

The test assesses readiness for studying or training in an English-speaking environment for higher education or professional registration.

ELTS General Training

This test focuses on broader skills intended for social or workplace contexts. Students taking this exam are typically going to an English-speaking country for secondary education, work or training.

ISEE/SSAT

Independent Secondary School Entrance Exams

We offer test prep for secondary school admissions, including ISSE, SSAT, and SHSAT.

GRE, GMAT and LSAT

We offer support for the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT for prospective graduate and professional school students.
